The project consisted of the refurbishment of an existing dwelling, associated civil works and the change of use to a Podiatry medical centre. The internal layout was adapted to form a waiting room, reception, workshop, and consultation spaces. 

The new layout had to be designed and constructed to AS1428.1 Design for access and mobility and the Disability (access to Premises – Buildings) Standards. The civil works included the construction of 7 car parking spaces, access driveway and stormwater work connected to the existing network. There was also associated landscape work which was required to complete the project. 

The project was completed on 23 July 2023 at an approximate cost of $560,000 During the projects we have liaised with Mathias in his capacity of head contractor and have found him to be competent in constructing this project. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mathias for any similar projects.

How we work with you during our PAC process 


STEP 1: INITIAL CONTACT AND CLIENT FORM

​Please contact our team, and we will provide you with a brief questionnaire via email. This will enable us to gain a clearer understanding of your vision and ensure that our in-person meeting proceeds as smoothly as possible. Prior to our initial site meeting, you can expect to receive our information pack, which will give you further insight into who we are and how we can assist with your project."

STEP 2: IN PERSON MEETING  

We’re excited to meet you at your home for a fun “dreams to reality” session! During this time, we’ll go through your completed questionnaire and really dive into what you want to achieve with your project. The best part? There’s no obligation and it’s completely FREE! We just ask that by the end of our meeting, you let us know with a YES or NO if you’d like to move forward with developing your concept.

Here’s what you can expect during our time together:


- A thorough site inspection to get a good feel for the space

- A design consultation using our handy client selection checklist

- A preliminary cost estimate to give you an idea of the budget

- A chat about cost-saving options to keep things affordable

- A presentation of the design brief to bring your vision to life



STEP 3: DESIGN & CONCEPT

Together with the selected architect, we will begin the process of developing concept plans with you. This will include:

STEP 4: SIGN CONTRACTS & INSURANCE

Only once you have accepted the quote we will sign the Master Builder contracts. This will outline particulars of the job, including the payment process. We will also ensure the relevant insurances are in place


STEP 5: SUBMIT QUOTE WITH DETAILED TIMELINE

We’re excited to provide you with a quote that reflects the complete documents and gives you a true picture of your build! Here’s what you can expect from our quoting service:


- Thorough site inspections to understand your space

- A design consultation using our handy “client selection” checklist

- A clear timeline for the build schedule, so you know what to expect

- A detailed presentation of the quote

- Suggestions for potential cost-saving options to keep everything budget-friendly


STEP 6: CONGRATULATIONS!

Throughout the entire build process, we’ll have site meetings to keep everything on track. Plus, with our handy software, you’ll be able to check out the schedule and stay in touch with us anytime.
