During this phase, we partner with you and your designer to ensure the best possible outcome for your budget. We provide essential insights on costs, materials, and construction methods, allowing for informed decision-making. Early involvement minimizes the risk of unexpected expenses and delays, giving you peace of mind as your project unfolds. You’ll have a trusted advisor by your side, dedicated to navigating the complexities of building, ensuring that every decision aligns with your goals and results in a home tailored to your needs.

Your journey begins with a warm welcome! Simply fill out our online project inquiry form with your contact information and basic project details. We’ll then reach out to schedule a meeting, which typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. This meeting can take place on-site (for renovation or extension projects), via video or phone call, or at a local café on Blackbutt Rd. During this initial conversation, we’ll get to know each other, discuss your estimated project budget and goals, and explore any initial ideas or questions you may have. We’ll also share examples of our previous work and provide an overview of what’s included in our Pre-Construction Consultation Process.

#Collaborative Design - Exploring Your Vision

At this stage, our approach is customized to the specific progress of your project. We believe in engaging early—ideally during the concept stage—and collaborating closely with you and your chosen designer to offer valuable insights on buildability, performance, and cost. If you haven't yet selected a designer, that's perfectly fine! We can provide you with a list of recommended designers who align well with your project goals.

#Detailed Costing and planning 

Once your design and budget are in sync, we transition to the Deep Dive stage. During this phase, we create a detailed build proposal that specifies all inclusions and exclusions. We work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to discuss construction specifics and secure accurate trade pricing, ensuring you receive a comprehensive proposal. Our aim is to provide you with a clear understanding of costs and timelines, establishing a strong foundation for the next steps in your project.

We prepare a contract that clearly outlines all the agreed-upon details, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the process. We will review the contract together, addressing any questions or concerns you may have before both parties sign. This stage guarantees that everything is in place and that you feel confident moving forward.

#Bringing Your Vision to Life

We have now arrived at the Let's Build stage. Our experienced team will commence construction on your custom home, keeping you informed every step of the way. We provide regular updates on progress and promptly address any issues that arise, ensuring the project stays on track. Our aim is to create a seamless and enjoyable experience, from our initial hello to the moment you step into your finished home.
