M2Haus are a certified passive house trades building company, specialising in high-performance homes. We build homes using passive house principles, which are flexible performance standards. This means a house that is sustainable, the same temperature all year round, is highly energy efficient and is non-toxic. We work with you, your architect and your designer collaboratively to plan and deliver a new home that is beautiful and to your style and taste.

We believe in innovation and implement modern building methods and processes. All our builds use high-performance materials, specialised windows and building wraps that are non-toxic and last.

We understand the importance of budget and time and thoroughly plan all projects to ensure they are cost-efficient and delivered on time. From approval for a DA, to completion, we work to ensure the best solution for our clients. We offer fixed lump sum tenders – with a single price for all activities in your project scope. We consider this method the most effective means of reducing the construction price for a build. Payments are made in fixed durations based on scheduled work completed

Panelised and Prefabrication.

Panelised construction involves the manufacturing of panels, windows, insulation, seals and membranes offsite. This allows for passive house standards to be guaranteed during a build. The structures can be assessed for airtightness, and dryness and avoids the formation of mould within the walls, floor or roof of the home. Panelised construction actually allows for greater freedom and flexibility of design. It is completely customisable, andy you can still design a home to your particular style and feel. Prefabrication also allows precise construction and a more easily predictable delivery timeframe, keeping the project costs to a minimum.

PAC (Paid as Consultant).

The Paid As A Consultant (PAC) process is a professional service m2haus provides its clients to act as a building consultant alongside the design team during the pre-construction phase.

It is a separate, value added service that will prepare you for signing a building contract service and covers some of the costs associated with getting you ready to sign a building contract and for construction to begin. Our number one priority during this process is to make sure we deliver the absolute best project possible for your budget.

There are three main focus areas during this PAC phase:

We work with you and your designer to ensure your dream design can be delivered within your budget
‘Buildability’ – we ensure that whatever is designed can be built to code/ industry standards
Cost Analysis – we provide breakdowns of cost in certain areas to allow you to make educated decisions about inclusions and exclusions to your home.

We collaborate closely with your chosen designer and architect to provide you with all the required documentation and drawings necessary to take your home from concept to build. With all the documents in place, your chosen builder can formulate and present a detailed scope of work, construction timeline and cost analysis.

The process includes a number of services, including existing property inspections, design consultations, and project proposal.

Our aim is to provide a personalised, transparent, service that will give you the confidence and certainty to take your project from concept to completion with exceptional building standards, on time and within budgets.
